Privacy Policy

What we store

• Your account: name, email address and a hashed password. We never store the password itself.
• Your dogs: whatever you choose to enter — name, breed, dates, source, microchip, veterinarian, notes.
• Your training records: lesson progress, journal entries, quiz attempts and completion records.
• Payment: handled entirely by our payment processor. Card numbers never reach our servers; we keep only the processor's reference and the amount.
• Server logs: ordinary web-server records, kept briefly for security and debugging.

What we do with it

We use it to run your account and show you your own progress. That is the whole list. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with advertisers, and we do not build profiles for anyone else.

Cookies

Two: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and — only if you tick the box — a "keep me signed in" token. Both are strictly necessary for the site to function. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, which is why you are not being asked to dismiss a consent banner.

Your light or dark theme preference is stored in your browser and never sent to us.

Who else can see it

Our hosting provider and our payment processor, each only to the extent they need in order to provide their service. Nobody else, unless we are legally required to disclose something.

Your control

You can edit or delete your dogs and journal entries yourself at any time. Ask us for a copy of everything we hold about you, or for the whole account to be deleted, and we will do it. Deletion is permanent.

Children

Accounts are for adults. The Academy is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or who sees it, we will say so on this page and date it.
